Laser Cutting
Precision, Quality, Time and Knowledge
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a laser to cut various materials for industrial manufacturing applications. Laser cutting is caused when the output of a high-power laser beam is directed at a material's surface. The material then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, or is blown away by a jet of gas, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. Laser cutting also allows for much greater design freedom for your parts with the ability to cut intricate, complex patterns of virtually any size.
Laser cutting is often used on materials such as:
- Mild steels
- Stainless steels
- Solder Ribbon cut in to shapes of a preform
- Titanium alloys
- Aluminum alloys
- Galvanized steels
- Nitinol, Inconel
- Ceramic Substrates
- EMI Filters
- Magnetics
Using state of the art technology we are also able to process clean cuts on:
- Cut silicon wafers for solar panels
- 2-D profile cutting in sheet metals
- Cutting automotive hydro form tubes, cradles and side pillars
- 3-D cutting
